A Quick Update

We made the trip to San Diego in good time, arriving this morning before 11 AM. Arda’s friends have all come in and gotten their bikes ready to go. After a banquet tomorrow night, they will dip their rear wheels in the Pacific at Dog Beach on Friday morning. Then they start out to St Augustine, where they will dip their front wheels in the Atlantic. I am parked at the Point Loma Naval Training Center, which has been de-commissioned and is now an upscale area near the bay. There are still some Navy Operations here but the Training Center is gone. I placed three travel bugs today and picked up two more. It’s late and has been a long day, so I’ll sign off for now.
