I’ve got the greatest front, back, and side yard anyone could wish for. Today I got up at the old Point Loma Naval Training Center. De-commissioned, the city now owns it and has turned it into an esplanade and hotel/apartment area. There is even a Starbucks out my front window. And in back of the mini-mall area is the USS Recruit – a leftover from the boot camp days. I geocached the marina side of San Diego Bay today and got some more pictures of the waterside environment. Tonight, after the banquet, I’m staying at the hotel (outside on the street, of course), so that I can go with the Women Tours to Dog Beach for the starting
ceremonies.
